Large "Caracalla" polychrome marble bust - 80 cm h - Italy early 20th century

Fascinating antique bust in marble depicting the Emperor Caracalla. Head in white Carrara marble, bust in red Verona marble and base in black Belgian marble. Large artifact characterized by meticulous sculptural details, expressed mostly  in the anatomical features and in the draperies of the mantle. Buonissime structural and conservation conditions, natural patina and small traces of time (as shown in the photo). Italy, early 20th century. Overall dimensions: cm 57 x 33 x 80 h.
